This poster represents how engineering systems can be explained visually. By helping my friend with this design, I wasn’t just making something look nice — I was making sure the bioprocess ideas behind anaerobic digestion could be understood, remembered, and appreciated by others.

This poster is about a bioprocess engineering study on anaerobic digestion (ADM1), focusing on how sugar from lipids decomposes across different stages (hydrolysis, acidogenesis, acetogenesis, methanogenesis). My role was to translate those technical findings into a visual story that’s clear, structured, and approachable.

Engineering research often involves complex systems, models, and equations. By designing this poster, I helped break down the ADM1 model (with its 24 state variables, COD variations, and reactor setup) into digestible sections — so readers can quickly grasp the process flow, results, and implications for biogas production.

By designing this poster, I helped break down the ADM1 model (with its 24 state variables, COD variations, and reactor setup) into digestible sections — so readers can quickly grasp the process flow, results, and implications for biogas production.

My friend did the hard work of running simulations, analyzing COD variations, and validating ADM1 against references. I contributed by shaping those insights into a cohesive narrative — making the poster not only a research output but also a teaching and communication tool.
